Manchester United signed one of the best strikers in the world by luring Radamel Falcao on loan last summer.
However, the Colombian international has found it hard to settle with the Red Devils for various reasons, may it be injury concerns or confidence hampered because of not playing regularly.
The former Porto and Atletico hitman is highly likely going to leave the club once his loan spell expired but there are chances that he will move away from Monaco again.
As per reports Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in securing the services of Falcao.
Former Manchester United star Paul Parker has scoffed rumors that Falcao can move to either Liverpool or Chelsea and specifically mocked Liverpool for not being a big enough club for him. Parker claimed in his blog:
“Nice idea, but they (Liverpool) are not quite big enough a club for Falcao; he must be looking for more than that. And being ex-United it’s unlikely the fans would take to him – especially if he did not hit the ground running.”
Perhaps Parker is forgetting that Falcao moved to Atletico, who were not in the Champions League, then moved to Monaco, who just got promoted and then again moved to Man United who were not in the Champions League.
Falcao’s main criteria has always been $$$, the club that can pay his wages is likely going to secure him next.
Liverpool do not have that sort of a pay structure but will they pay huge salary to sign Falcao who will clearly work in the right team and setup. As far as being big enough is concerned, do we really have to say anything about that.
