Both teams are in the bottom half of the standings in the Italian Serie B, but it seems to me, that Varese is the team with better chances in this clash.
In fact, there are two main reasons for my bet.
The hosts showed good football in their previous seven games at this stadium, winning four of those seven encounters, while three games ended with draws (4-3-0 15-9).
Three of those four victories came against Spezia (2-1), Trapani (5-2) and Bari (2-1) – teams, that are currently in the upper half of the standings in this league.
On the other side we have Vicenza – team with four defeats in its previous seven away games (1-2-4 5-12) and with the weakest attack in this league (only eleven goals).
Andrea Cristiano (m / 4+0) is still injured and will miss this match for the home team, but he is not regular starter.
The Red-Whites, on the other hand, have much more problems ahead of this clash, as important players like Pol Garcia (d / 13+1), Antonino Ragusa (m / 8+3), Federico Moretti (m / 9+2) and Davide Di Gennaro (m / 13+1) will miss the trip to Varese.
