Manchester United were desperate for top defenders this summer after the departure of Evra, Vidic and Ferdinand.
Having already lured Luke Shaw early, United had to wait to sign the second one in the form of Argentine Marcos Rojo.
However, since his arrival, Manchester United have played three games but Rojo has not featured yet due to visa problems.
Now that the issue has been resolved, the €20m new signing from Sporting CP is all set to make his debut against QPR on home ground next weekend.
Marcos Rojo is extremely delighted that he will finally pull on the Red Devils shirt and claimed:
“I am desperate to get onto the field and play because I have not been able to step into Old Trafford yet,”
“I am very happy to be at Manchester United, a top team in the world, sharing a dressing room with players like Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Angel Di Maria and now Radamel Falcao.”
“This is a very important step in my career as a player and as a person.
“Everything that has happened to me since the World Cup has been a dream.“
Rojo played all his World Cup games as a left back for Argentina as Garay and Demichelis featured as central defenders.
It will be intriguing to see where Marcos Rojo will start for United on his debut given that Luke Shaw is still out injured and Ashley Young has been playing as a regular left wing-back.

As a man utd Supporter, also can’t wait to see United back in all form.
Am very hopeful that Man United will collect all the three points come this weekend.
