Manchester United finally ended the speculation and announced Louis van Gaal as their permanent manager.
The Dutch coach will start working for the Red Devils after the Wolrd Cup, however according to reports, he has already handed the list of players he wants at Old Trafford next season.
Guardian football Journalist Jamie Jackson has claimed:
“He’s (Van Gaal) already handed United a list of transfer targets. How he deals with that being with Holland in Brazil is interesting.
“United won’t want to have a repeat of the difficult transfer period they had last summer.”
As per the provided TalkSport link, the list include the players like Southampton’s Luke Shaw, Toni Kroos and even former Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas.
Not so long ago it was reported that United have sealed a deal for Shaw, nothing is official yet but the England star will cost around £25m.
Kroos is rated around £30m and he alongside Barcelona star Fabregas rated £40m will be ideal signings for Manchester United midfield.
Several other players are also linked with a move to Manchester United and now that Louis van Gaal is confirmed, United turn into an attractive prospect even without Champions League football.
United faithful look for an exciting summer ahead.
