Arsenal midfielder offered to Paris Saint-Germain

The representative of Jack Wilshere has reportedly offered the midfielder’s services to Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the summer transfer window. The England international has just over a month left on his Arsenal contract but talks over an extension have been put on hold until the appointment of a new head coach.
According to L’Equipe, the agent of Wilshere has supposedly been in contact with Les Parisiens as he aims to pursue a fresh challenge for his client. The Capital outfit have only recently celebrated a domestic treble but they are still expected to reinforce their midfield over the summer in order to progress further in next season’s Champions League.
As such, one of their key targets should be to find a replacement for the retiring Thiago Motta, although it is unclear whether Wilshere would fit into their plans, considering Giovani Lo Celso and Adrien Rabiot are presently the first-choice picks in the central midfield department.
Wilshere, 26, had an impressive 2017/18 season with the Gunners where he made 38 appearances across all competitions. However, his performances did deteriorate towards the end of the campaign and this unfortunately hampered his chances of making the World Cup squad with England.
Nevertheless, he has highly spoken about by several pundits in the country and it would not come a surprise, if a couple of elite clubs approach for his services during the summer transfer window.
As things stand, Wilshere has just over a month remaining on his contract and he is supposedly facing the heartbreak of leaving his hometown club unless the Gunners re-enter into contract negotiations.
The Englishman has been with the club since the age of nine and made his first-team debut against Blackburn Rovers back in 2008. He has been in-and-out of the first-team thereafter with multiple injuries but has still made close to 200 appearances across all competitions.
