Three things to watch for: Manchester City vs Chelsea

Manchester City entertain Chelsea in a much-anticipated Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.
The Citizens are pretty much cruising towards the league title with a 16-point lead over Manchester United at the top of the standings, but the game still has plenty of importance with Chelsea desperate to make ground on the top-four. The Blues are currently two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, and anything less than a win over the Citizens could see them drop further behind in their quest for the final Champions League spot.
Three Things to watch for:
Sergio Aguero’s goalscoring feat: The Argentine notched his 199th goal during the League Cup final versus Arsenal last weekend, but this was the fifth occasion on the trot he had scored versus the north London side. The club’s all-time goalscorer could not replicate the feat versus the Gunners in the Premier League in midweek, and he will be eyeing his double-century against a Blues defence, which has crumbled under pressure of late.
Willian’s promising form in 2018: Willian was mostly confined to a bench role during the first-half of the season, but the turn of the year has brought plenty of promise. The attacker has picked up the man of the match accolade in his last three appearances for the Blues, and one of them happened to be against Barcelona in the Champions League, where he put in one of his best performances in a 1-1 draw. Willian has amassed four goals in this period.
Manchester City’s record against The Top-Six: Manchester City have excelled with their performances against top-six opposition this term, and their only drop in points came in a 4-3 defeat at Liverpool, where they were outclassed in the attacking department. Chelsea struggled to find any dominance to their play during the reverse 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge in September 2017, and they face a difficult task of ending the Citizens’ unbeaten home run across all competitions this term – which has included 19 wins and one draw.
