Liverpool Step In Race to Sign Alexis Sanchez

Liverpool have already got top quality attacking players in the team such as the likes of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
Still, the Reds need more depth and quality after the departure of Coutinho and now Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is linked with the Reds.
The South American star has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City. Earlier today, Chilean journalist Mark Cardenas claimed that Liverpool have stepped in the race to bring the former Barca star to Anfield.

It is not surprising that the player wants to move to Manchester City. The Sky Blues are rich and can surely offer him a lot. Liverpool would probably have to break their pay structure to have any chance meeting his demands.
Furthermore, the Citizens are 15 points ahead of their closest rivals in the Premier League and moving to the Etihad would most likely get Alexis a PL medal in May.
