Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho may end up moving to Barca this month and the Reds must sign a quality replacement if the Brazilian departs.
If reports (Mirror) in the media are anything to go by then Liverpool officials have made contact with Monaco to sign Thomas Lemar, who is rated around 90 million pounds (€101million).
Last night, we covered a report (via Yahoo) claiming that the 22-year-old winger wants to sign for Liverpool. Therefore, it will not come as any surprise if he ends up moving to Anfield.

The question is, how will Klopp utilize the French playmaker if he joins the Reds to replace Coutinho? Lemar is left footed and prefers to play on the left wing.
This season, Sadio Mane is the man who has mainly played on the left wing after the arrival of Mohamed Salah, who is being utilized on the right wing.
Lemar is not as versatile as Coutinho and he cannot play in the central midfield. So, the German boss will have to alter his favorite 4-3-3 formation. It might be 4-2-3-1 and Mane or Salah could be utilized in the secondary striker’s role.
Here is Liverpool’s probable lineup with Lemar.
