Manchester United have been in search of a left back for quite some time and a few quality stars are in the lime light.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via TuttoSport) claiming that Mourinho is ready to pay the release clause of Napoli star Faouzi Ghoulam next summer.
As far as the winter transfer window is concerned, reports are once again linking United with Tottenham star Danny Rose.

According to Mirror, Jose Mourinho wants to snap up the 27-year-old England international, who could be available for a fee worth 50 million pounds ($68million).
However, the British source claim that Ed Woodward has told the Portuguese boss that he cannot lure Rose.
The former Chelsea boss is said to be angry with the fact that Man United vice-chairman has recommended younger alternatives and claimed that the club would have to offload players if they are to sign Danny.
If that is the case then United should sell bench warmers like Shaw and Darmian and get the necessary funds to sign the Spurs star. Rose has mainly been injured this season but when fit, he is one of the best full-backs in the country, who has the quality to largely improve Mourinho’s back line.

Have always maintained that Woodward was not fit to be the CEO for Man Utd club. Moreover his loyalties are definitely aligned with the owners and lining their pockets through endorsements and merchandise sales; although it would be foolish of them to think that these astronomical numbers would continue if Man Utd start losing ground in EPL and Champions League………….Me thinks Woodward is trying to make Man Utd into another Arsenal case, when they over extended with their new stadium expenditure.
You are 100% correct, Woodward has ruined the club for the reasons you have stated. Mourinhou is definitly leaving possibly end January then what are they going to do. Woodward is not a negotiator and Madrid have openly said they will not deal with Woodward. So there is a big problem.
Forgetting Woodward for a second, why sell a player who over the last few games is showing signs of returning to form now full fit? Shaw has played extremely well, is younger than Rose and potentially a better option than Rose. Darmian was a waste of money, only suited to Van Gaals’s way of playing. They talk and talk about spending when the Club and Jose could save millions by bringing back Fosu-Mensah and Periera to do the jobs. But Jose has no faith in youth, never has never will
