Liverpool need a top player to replace Philippe Coutinho, who effectively played in the midfield and also in the attack this season.
Yesterday, we reported (via Chilean journalist Mark Cardenas) that Liverpool have contacted the Gunners for Alexis.
The 29-year-old star is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League but does not play in the midfield. This means that Klopp may have to change his formation from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 in order to include Sanchez if he moves to Anfield.

In the last campaign, Alexis played 51 games for the gunners and directly contributed in no fewer than 49 goals (30 goals and 19 assists). Last season, he mainly played in the CF role but this season, he has mostly played as a left winger.
At Liverpool, Mane and Salah are being utilized out wide and Firmino starts in the CF position. If the South American star joins then we can expect him to start in the AM position under Klopp.
