Wenger Making Moves to Sign Leon Bailey – Arsenal Favorites

Arsenal are seriously looking to strengthen their team in the winter transfer window and a few attacking players are linked with the North Londoners.

Now, according to Mirror, Arsenal have edged ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea to become favorites to hire the services of Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey, who has been in fantastic form this season.

The 20-year-old Jamaican playmaker has so far featured in 16 games in all competitions for the German Bundesliga side and directly contributed in no fewer than 12 goals (8 goals and 4 assists).
Leon is naturally a left winger but he can effectively play on the right flank as well. As per the provided Mirror link, Arsenal are believed to be making significant moves to secure the signing of the $40million rated star as Wenger sent scouts to monitor Bailey last Sunday and they were impressed big time.
The British source have further mentioned that Arsenal are prepared to splash a fee worth $40million on the playmaker to reinforce the team after the departure of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool last summer.
