Liverpool Target Leon Goretzka to Make Decision Next Month

Liverpool have been linked with German international and Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka for quite some time and the latest reports are interesting.
Last month, we covered a report (via Don Balon) claiming that Liverpool may even have an agreement with the German international and could settle his signing for a fee under 40 million euros (£36million).
Moreover, the Gambling Times exclusively revealed that Klopp is pressing hard to secure the signature of the versatile midfielder.
The 22-year-old Kaiser will be out of contract next summer and he can agree a pre-contract with any club in January.

Lately, the youngster has opened up about his next move and claimed that he will make a decision next month when the winter transfer window will be open.
Goretzka claimed (Independent):
“I have to find out for myself what the next step should be. I have to consider a million things. I am a person who is very meticulous in such decisions. I play through all the scenarios. So I need time.”
“There doesn’t exist a deadline, but I think we are in the final phase. The final decision will be made in January.”
This season, Leon has so far featured in 11 league games and scored 4 goals for Schalke. Liverpool should act swiftly to sign him because even Manchester United are interested in hiring his services (Sky).
