Manchester United have been interested in hiring the services of German international and Arsenal star Mesut Ozil for quite some time.
Last night, the Red Devils defeated the North Londoners in their own backyard and will now hope that City will slip up today.
Before the contest between the Gunners and the Old Trafford club, Mourinho was asked whether he would like to sign Ozil and the former Chelsea boss made no comment on the subject (Telegraph).

Still, as per the provided Telegraph link, Mourinho is keen on securing the signature of the former Real Madrid star, who was a key member of the side when the Los Blancos lifted the league title in 2012 under Jose.
The British source have mentioned that the Portuguese manager does not want to spend £20m-£25m million in the winter window and is prepared to wait for next summer to sign Ozil on a free transfer.
The World Cup winning star’s current deal with Arsenal will expire next year and at the moment, he is earning (MEN) around £154,000-a-week ($208,000-a-week).
Telegraph claim that United are also interested in signing Alexis Sanchez but they know that the Chilean international is looking to join Manchester City instead.
