Manchester United are looking to reinforce their attack in the winter transfer window and lately, they have been linked with Brazilian international and Bordeaux star Malcolm.
Earlier this month, we covered a report (via The Times) claiming that the Red Devils are looking to bid around $40million to hire the services of the Samba playmaker.
As per the latest update provided by Daily Mail, Manchester United will pay around 33 million pounds ($44million) in order to lure Malcolm, who Mourinho believes is one of the best young prospects in the continent.

The former Corinthians winger has been in top form form the Ligue 1 side this season. He has featured in 18 league games so far, scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists as well.
As per the provided Daily Mail link, the French club are looking to get more than 50 million pounds ($67million) from the sale of their prized asset but United are not prepared to splash that sum.
Furthermore, it is stated that the Old Trafford club are planning to loan him back for the remainder of the season. Loaning him back does not make much sense because Mourinho definitely needs to improve his attack for the second half of the campaign.
