Clubs Reportedly Agreed Move Last Month – Man Utd could Now Seal Winger Signing

Manchester United have to be active in the winter transfer window if they are to have any chance of challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Last month, Record reported that Embalo is packed for Manchester United after clubs agreed the transfer of the winger. The Portuguese source mentioned that the player will leave the Primeira Liga club to join the Red Devils.

If the latest reports are anything to go by then perhaps the fee is yet to be settled. According to A Bola, the 16-year-old attacker can leave in the month of January.
The Portuguese outlet have mentioned that Manchester United are most insistent on signing the teenage starlet and can seal his signing for a fee worth 13-14 million euros.
Embalo is currently the captain of the U-17 Portuguese national team and he has scored 7 goals in 13 appearances for them. In the UEFA Youth League this season, he has scored 1 goal and provided 1 assist in 5 games for Benfica.
