Liverpool have Moved in with $33million Offer to Sign "Big Player"

Liverpool desperately need to improve their back line by signing a top quality central defender but lately, they have been linked with a Croatian fullback in the form of Sime Vrsaljko.
Two days back, we covered a report (via Corriere dello Sport) claiming that the Reds have contacted Atletico Madrid to sign the defender, who has mainly been warming the bench under the management of Diego Simeone.
If the claim made by renowned football journalist Tancredi Palmeri is anything to go by then Liverpool have actually moved in with an offer to sign the 25-year-old defender.

Palmeri posted a tweet and claimed that Atletico Madrid have received an offer worth 28 million euros ($33million) from Liverpool for Sime.
Recently, Simeone praised Sime and stated (Daily Star).

“Sime is a big player and all big players have a value,”

The former Dinamo Zagreb player has only managed to play 20 games since joining the Spanish side in 2016 and needs regular game time to earn a place in Croatia’s WC squad.
Not to forget, at the moment, Liverpool’s first choice right back Clyne and first choice left back Moreno are out injured. Sime is naturally a right back, who can be deployed in the left back position as well.
