Liverpool Should Sign Luis Suarez – Jamie Redknapp

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has constantly been linked with Barcelona and the Reds must hold on to him.
The Brazilian international has been brilliant for the Merseysiders in the current campaign. In 17 appearances so far, the 25-year-old superstar has directly contributed in 18 goals (10 goals and 8 assists).
If the former Inter Milan star does leave the Anfield club then the Reds must sign a top quality replacement and a former Red has backed the club to ask Barca for Luis Suarez.

Jamie Redknapp claimed (Daily Mail):

“While bringing in a number of players is not always the best option. Instead, Liverpool should ask Barcelona to swap Coutinho for Luis Suarez.”

The 30-year-old Uruguayan forward was darling of the Kop when he was at Liverpool. He netted 31 league goals in his last Premier League campaign and is still one of the best strikers in the world.
This season, so far, Luis has scored 9 goals and provided 1 assist in 13 league games for the Catalan club. Back in December 2016, he extended his contract with Barca, which has a mammoth release clause of €200million.
