Arsenal are already out of the title race and are currently 6th in the Premier League table. The North Londoners must strengthen their team in the winter transfer window if they are to get back into the Champions League for next season.
As far as the transfers are concerned, the Gunners have been linked with numerous quality attackers and one of them is Lyon star Nabil Fekir.
Last month, we covered a report (via Daily Star) claiming that Arsenal are close to agreeing a £60million deal to sign the French attacking midfielder. Star claimed that the deal was almost done.

As per the latest update exclusively provided by Daily Star, the Ligue 1 club are not ready to let their prized asset leave in the New Year.
It is mentioned that Arsenal want Fekir to replace Alexis Sanchez but they might have to wait for next summer to do that because Lyon are refusing to sell him next month.
The 24-year-old star has been in brilliant form for the French side in the current campaign. In 22 appearances in all competitions, he has directly contributed in 18 goals so far (15 goals and 3 assists).
If Nabil cannot join in January then the Gunners must hold on to Alexis until the end of the season. That way they will lose the Chilean for free but selling him in January without signing a replacement would be worse.
