Liverpool have already strengthened their defense by securing a deal for Virgil van Dijk. The Dutch defender is one of the best center halves in the PL and will largely improve Klopp’s back line.
The Reds still need to sign a specialist defensive midfielder and a consistent goalie to completely solve the defensive dilemma.
As far as the goalkeeping situation is concerned, Mignolet and Karius have proved to be inconsistent and the Merseysiders must sign a top first choice goalie.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then England international and Stoke City shot stopper Jack Butland is ready to agree a move to Liverpool.
According to an exclusive report covered by Football London, Chelsea have been interested in signing Jack but the 24-year-old star is keen on signing for Liverpool. It is mentioned that the Potters will demand a fee of more than 30 million pounds ($40million) for their prized asset.
So far, Butland has featured 6 times for the senior national side. This season, he has not been able to perform at his best for Stoke City, who are 15th in the table at the moment.
In 18 league appearances, Jack has only managed to keep 2 clean sheets and has already conceded 39 goals. In your opinion, is he good enough to solve Liverpool’s goalkeeping conundrum?

There most certainly is a God and he wears a Liverpool shirt if Liverpool can get Jack Butland! A defensive midfielder next and perhaps somebody to replace Coutinho – if he goes and I’d demand £130m for him, not a penny less – and I am one happy New Year bunny!
No doubt that Butland is a good goalkeeper but i rather demand Marc-André ter Stegen part of Coutinho.!!!
I mean get Stegen as part of coutinho deal to Barcelona and invest on the money buying Lemar from PSG.
