Chelsea Set Sights on Signing $59million Midfielder – Contact Made

Chelsea have had a difficult Premier League campaign so far and they are already 14 points behind league leaders Manchester City.
Not to forget, the Blues will collide against Barcelona in the Round of 16 Champions League contest. Therefore, Conte must look to strengthen his team in the winter transfer window.
As far as the transfers are concerned, the Stamford Bridge club are linked with Brazilian international and Gremio starlet Arthur.

According to Mundo Deportivo (pressreader), the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan have set their sights on signing the 21-year-old midfielder, who has got a release clause of 50 million euros ($59million) in his contract.
Arthur is a versatile talent, who can play in multiple midfield positions. His current contract with Gremino will expire in December 2019.
The Spanish source state that the above mentioned three clubs have made contact with Arthur’s agent to know if his client has got some sort of agreement with Barcelona.
It is further stated that Arthur is a Barca fan, he likes Iniesta and will not hesitate wearing the famous kit. However, if the Catalan giants do not make a good move for him then he would consider other proposals.
