Not the News Liverpool Fans Wanted after the Maribor Game

Liverpool retained their top place in the Champions League group after beating Maribor 3-0 at Anfield last night.
The Slovenian champions conceded 7 goals at home against the Merseysiders two weeks back and therefore, they opted to park the bus away from home.
The Reds failed to break the opponents in the first half but the likes of Salah, Can and Sturridge scored in the second half to earn all three points.

After the game, Jurgen Klopp (LFC) provided an update regarding star playmaker Coutinho’s injury and the German manager expects the Brazilian superstar to miss the PL contest against West Ham on Saturday.
On the other hand, it will not come as any surprise to see Wijnaldum out of the team against the Hammers as well.
The Dutch international was substituted early on in the game vs Maribor due to an ankle concern and scans will let us know the true extent of the injury (LFC).
