Few days back, we covered a report (via Don Balon) claiming that Mourinho is taking advantage of the current crisis situation at Madrid to sign Varane.
The Portuguese manager has tried to sign Varane previously as well and now, as per the latest update provided by the Spanish source, Jose is prepared to let David De Gea join the Los Blancos but in return he wants Varane to strengthen his back line.

The 24-year-old star has won every major Spanish title with Real Madrid, including three Champions League titles. This season, he has mainly been on the treatment table and in his absence, Zidane’s defense has been really weak.
The Les Bleus star signed a new long term deal with the La Liga giants back in September, which will expire in 2022 and has a mammoth release clause of €200million (Goal).
