Manchester United have been interested in Spanish international and Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez for quite some time.
The 22-year-old star is one of the best young midfielders in the world, who can be deployed effectively in the attacking third as well.
Last month, we covered a report (via Don Balon) claiming that Jose Mourinho is ready to offer Mata and Herrera to hire the services of Niguez from the Rojiblancos.

However, as per the latest update exclusively provided by the Sun, the former Chelsea boss is keen on signing Niguez but he wants to hold on to Ander Herrera.
Atletico have not been in top form this season in La Liga and they are on the verge of getting eliminated from the Champions League as well.
As far as Saul is concerned, his form has been poor. He has has scored just one goal and provided one assist in 16 games this season.
The British source have mentioned that Niguez, who has a mammoth release clause of 134 million pounds ($176million) in his contract, is open to joining Manchester United if the two clubs can agree on a deal.
