According to an exclusive report covered by the Sun, the French managers wants to sign Everton playmaker Ademola Lookman.
The 19-year-old speedy attacker has mostly warmed the bench for the Toffees. This season, he has only made one appearance for the first team in the EFL Cup vs Sunderland. In that contest, he only featured for 17 minutes.
Lookman is a versatile talent, who can be deployed on either flank and also as a secondary striker if needed. As per the provided Sun link, Everton would be reluctant to sell him but an offer worth 15 million pounds ($20million) could be very tempting for the Merseysiders.
Moreover, the British source has mentioned that Ademola’s adviser is close to Arsenal and that would help the Gunners if Wenger decides to secure his signature in the winter window.
