Man Utd Confident of Agreeing Deal with Fellaini

Manchester United hired the services of a strong defensive midfielder in the form of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea in the summer transfer window and the Serbian international has impressed immediately.
Matic has mainly started with Pogba in the center of the park this season but the French international is injured at the moment and in his absence, Belgian star Marouane Fellaini has stepped up big time.
The former Everton star has been criticized for his inconsistent performances but this season, he has proved the doubters wrong with brilliant performances.
Fellaini has directly contributed in 5 goals (4 goals and 1 assist) in 4 starts for the Old Trafford club in the current campaign.

Marouane’s current deal with the Red Devils will expire next summer and Mourinho wants to agree a new deal with him.
According to Daily Mirror, United are confident that they can strike a new deal with the 29-year-old midfielder. The British source have mentioned that the deal will likely be for two years, with an option for a third.
Few days back, the Sun exclusively revealed that Man Utd believe that they will have to pay more than Fellaini’s current wages of $170,000-a-week to agree the contract with him.
