Manchester United are looking to strengthen their squad in the winter transfer window and if the latest reports are anything to go by then they are looking to sign a certain Belgian defender.
According to reports (Express), the Red Devils are ready to move in with an offer worth 30 million pounds ($39.4million) to sign Thomas Meunier from French side Paris Saint-Germain.
The British source have mentioned that the 26-year-old is now behind Alves in the pecking order and now wants a move away from the club for regular first team football.
Thomas has featured 19 times for the senior Belgian side and hopes to earn a place in the team for the next year’s World Cup.

Meunier has been in top form this season mainly in the attacking third. In 6 league starts, he has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists. However, he has not played a single minute in the Champions League as Emery prefers Alves.
At the moment, Valencia is United’s first choice right back and Mourinho has also got Darmian for the position. Still, the former Chelsea boss wants to further strengthen the back line and wants Thomas at Old Trafford.
The Belgian defender’s current deal with the French giants will expire in 2020 and Express claim that PSG could sell him to balance the books. In your opinion, should Jose sign him?
