Man Utd Pushing to Seal Signing of £75million Midfielder for Next Season

Manchester United splashed the cash to heavily reinforce their squad in the summer transfer window, still, they are five points behind league leaders Manchester City at the moment.
Manager Jose Mourinho wants to further strengthen his squad and if reports are anything to go by then Man United are pushing to already seal a deal for next season by wrapping up the signing of Spanish international and Valencia starlet Carlos Soler.
According to Daily Mail, the 20-year-old player has got a release clause of £75million in his contract but the La Liga club would likely accept a fee of £30million due to the ongoing financial concerns.

Soler is a versatile playmaker, who can play effectively in the midfield and also in the attacking third.
Last season, the youngster mainly played in the central midfield position, however, this time around, Valencia have mainly utilized him on the right wing.
In the current campaign, Carlos has scored one goal and provided 4 assists in 9 appearances for the Spanish club, who are currently second in the league behind Catalan giants Barcelona.
As per the provided Daily Mail link, the futures of Fellaini and Herrera are unclear and with Carrick expected to retire next year, Mourinho wants to strengthen his midfield and sees Soler as the player who would be perfect for the club.
