Liverpool have got one of the best attacks in the Premier League but their shaky defense has cost them a lot of points under the management of Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds badly need to sort out their back line by signing at least a top center half in the January transfer window.
However, as far as the latest transfer news is concerned, the Merseysiders are linked with an attacker in the form of Julian Draxler. The Reds were interested in signing the German international in the summer transfer window as well but he eventually stayed PSG

The French giants have an overcrowded attack after luring the likes of Mbappe and Neymar and in such a scenario, Draxler, who signed a contract (Goal) worth €9million-a-season (€173,000-a-week) last year, has only started 5 league games in the current campaign.
According to an exclusive report covered by Telefoot, Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing Draxler in the winter transfer window but the 24-year-old Kaiser wants to stay.
The French source has mentioned that Liverpool have not come up with an official offer as yet but Klopp loves Julian and is monitoring him closely. Moreover, it is also stated that Coutinho’s situation is also linked with this story.
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the winter window.

As long as we get beyond this current lunacy of “Well, we’ve got a crap defence so we need to score more goals . . . so let’s buy another forward” I don’t care. Spend a fortune of a top keeper, two centre-backs, a defensive midfielder and THEN, and only THEN, get a forward. Not rocket science you know . . .
Red Phil. Ever so on point. Nothing more to add bro.
Klopp has a problem, instead of signing defenders, you are bringing in attackers yet you know better that their works will be spoilt by his favourites live lovren…….what did you see in him in the first place…..Klopp is a traiter…why did you laugh when Spurs scored the second goal….its seems you are on the mission to deter Liverpool of its achivements…..you need to be sucked like yeaterday…..no wonder you run away from Dortmund without their consent……POOR COACH….
Overrated coach, confused board. What a bad match for LFC!
Corrected Comment Above: I also concur with comments by Red Phil. However, I differ with all negatives said about Klopp.I know Klopp is a good coach.Period.It took Sir Alex Ferguson a number of years to succeed at Man Utd. Klopp inherited players from Brendan Rogers.Did you expect Klopp to walk to Anfield and immediately start replacing players. It doesn’t happen anywhere like that in any football club.
Liverpool gonna be alright once they can fix their defense during the Jan transfer market. Sacking the coach is not the solution. We have a good coach and almost good team but the defense.
For the Yanks and Klopp..’we dont have problems with our goalkeeper, our centre back is just fine and our left/right back on form all the time…so..we’re not going to waste our time on that.. lets get another striker/midfielder, if the player is 16 years or 17 years of age much better “..
