Liverpool have only won once in their last seven outings and must step up big time if they are to challenge for big prizes this season.
In the current campaign, midfielders like Henderson, Can and Wijnaldum have failed to impress and have been largely inconsistent.
Not to forget, Can is going to be out of contract next summer and may look to agree a pre-contract for a move away from Anfield in January.
In the summer transfer window, the Merseysiders secured a deal to sign Naby Keita from Leipzig next year. Still, the Reds should look to strengthen their midfield department in the winter transfer window.

Recently, versatile French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has claimed that he would like to play in the Premier League and has dropped a huge Liverpool hint as well. He claimed (Mirror):
“I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young.”
The 22-year-old star has played over 150 games for Paris Saint-Germain and starts regularly in their midfield under the management of Unai Emery.
This season, he has so far played 11 games in all competitions, scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists as well. Capable of playing anywhere in the midfield, Rabiot has the quality to improve Klopp’s team.
In your opinion, should the German manager try to sign Adrien in the winter transfer window?
