Manchester United comfortably defeated FC Basel in their opening Champions League game of the season but Mourinho suffered a major injury setback.
Record signing Paul Pogba was handed the captain’s armband for the fixture against the Swiss side and after just 19 minutes, the French midfielder limped off the field with a ham string injury.
After the game, Mourinho claimed that the former Juventus star could be out for weeks (MUFC) and as per a recent report covered by BBC, the 24-year-old will miss at least a month and could be our for six weeks, which means he might miss the game against arch rivals Liverpool on 14th October.

Pogba was inconsistent in the last campaign but he started this season in brilliant fashion. The Les Bleus star has so far started every game for United this season, scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.
His absence will be a massive loss for the Old Trafford club and a huge boost for Liverpool if he is not fit in time to face the Anfield club.
With Paul out, in your opinion, who should partner Matic in the center of the park for United?
