Liverpool must sign a new center half this summer and they have been heavily linked with Virgil van Dijk.
Few days back, we covered a report (via The Sun) claiming that the Dutch defender is getting desperate to sign for the Reds but Southampton do not want to sell him.
The Saints have been adamant, Klopp has wasted a lot of time and now Liverpool must sign an alternative.
In my opinion, the Reds have to splash the cash to sign Roma star Kostas Manolas. Back in March, Klopp sent a scout to monitor his performances and was impressed (via Mirror)

The Greek international is at the peak of his game and will largely improve Klopp’s back line. The 26-year-old star has proved to be one of the best central defenders in the Serie A over the past few seasons. In the last campaign, he featured in 33 league games and helped Roma finish second in the table.
The former AEK Athens star was close to signing for Zenit for £30million back in June but he did not turn up for medical (Sky) and the move collapsed.
More recently, TuttoSport have reported that Roma are demanding a fee of 40 million euros ($47million) for their prized asset. The Italian source mentioned that for Juve, this price is way too expensive.
Liverpool on the other hand are prepared to pay around $79million (via Mirror) for Van Dijk (26). Therefore, paying $47million for Kostas should not really be a problem and Liverpool must meet the asking price to secure his signature.
In your opinion, should Klopp sign Manolas or Van Dijk?
