Manchester United need to sign a playmaker to strengthen their attacking midfield department this summer and a Turkish international is in the lime light.
According to reports in Spain (AS), Arda Turan’s future at Barcelona is up in the air after the former Galatasaray star was not selected vs Real in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup.
The Spanish source have suggested that the 30-year-old attacker is not in the plans of the new Barca boss and therefore, his agent Ahmed Bulut is going to negotiate Turan’s exit from the Nou Camp.
It is further mentioned that the agent is trying to secure a return to Gala for Arda, moreover, a move to Manchester United is considered possible as well. AS claim that Jose Mourinho has met the former Atletico star many a times with Bulut working on deals with super agent Jorge Mendes (Mourinho’s agent).
In today’s report covered by AS (press image provided below), it is mentioned that there is a possible interest in Turan from the Red Devils.

In the presence of stars like Messi, Suarez and Neymar, Arda had to warm the bench more often than not last season. Other than that, he also missed a handful of games due to injury.
He started in 23 games for the Catalan giants and directly contributed in 20 goals (13 goals and 7 assists). Turan can maneuver the ball with both feet effectively and can play anywhere in the attacking third.
