Manchester United Asked about Signing £350,000-a-week Star – {El Pais Journalist}

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Welsh international and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale for a long time now and the former Spurs star has been in the lime light in the past few days.

Yesterday, El Pais journalist Diego Torres Romano posted some information on his twitter account regarding Manchester United’s interest in Bale.

He claimed that the Red Devils asked about the possibility of signing the 28-year-old attacking midfielder from the Los Blancos but president Florentino Perez does not want to sell him.

Bale has won three Champions League titles in four seasons with the Spanish giants but now, his place in the starting XI is not completely guaranteed.
Last season, Gareth was mostly injured and in such a scenario, Zidane utilized the likes of Asensio and Isco and the Spanish duo impressed big time.
Bale’s current deal with the reigning European Champions will expire in 2022 and he earns around £350,000-a-week (The Guardian).
United have signed top players like Lukaku, Lindelof and Matic this summer and it is expected that they will not sign anyone else before the deadline ends tonight (Yahoo Sport).
