Manchester United have so far secured three quality signings in the summer transfer window. They need to continue the spending spree and sign a few more top stars.
More importantly, the Red Devils must hold on to the key players present in the current squad. Few days back, we covered a report (via Telegraph) claiming that United have moved closer to agreeing a new deal with Ander Herrera.
Today, ESPN have come up with a similar kind of report but they have also mentioned that Man United are keen on agreeing a new long term deal with Juan Mata as well.

The former Valencia star was sold by Jose Mourinho when he was in charge of Chelsea. However, last season, Mata was a key member of the Man United squad under the management of the Portuguese boss.
In the last campaign, the La Roja star featured in 42 games for the Old Trafford club, scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists.
As per the provided ESPN link, United believe that the likes of Herrera and Mata will agree new deals with the club.
The 29-year-old playmaker’s current contract with the Red Devils will expire in less than a year and he is earning around $185,000-a-week (Daily Star).
