Liverpool Might have to Pay Over $103million to Sign Van Dijk

Liverpool have been interested in signing Virgil van Dijk for quite some time but the Saints do not want to lose their prized asset even when he has submitted an official transfer request.

The British source have mentioned that Southampton are just waiting for Liverpool to sell their star playmaker Philippe Coutinho. After that, they will be able to ask a mammoth price for the 26-year-old central defender which might be above 80 million pounds ($103million).

The former Celtic center half signed a new contract with the Saints last year that will expire in 2022. He has been rock solid at the back for the club since moving to the St. Mary’s in 2015.
