Liverpool have been trying to sign Naby Keita all summer long but Leipzig remained adamant to keep their prized asset.
Now, the Reds have finally agreed a fee to sign the Guinean international but the player would join the club next summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder has got a release clause of 48 million pounds (active for next summer) and reports in the media suggest that Liverpool have paid that sum plus a premium to reach agreement with the Bundesliga side.
According to German source Zeit, Keita will move to Liverpool for a fee of €70million (64.7million pounds).

Naby was brilliant for Leipzig in the last campaign and helped the team qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.
Last season, he scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions. This season, so far, he has played 3 games and scored 1 goal.
The fact that Liverpool have already agreed a deal to lure him next summer indicates that Klopp rates him very highly and believes that he is vital for the club’s long term progress.
