Liverpool are Favorites to Sign $51.5million Star

Liverpool have been in search of a midfielder in this summer transfer window but so far they have failed to sign one.
The Reds were heavily linked with Naby Keita but it seems that the Guinean is going nowhere this summer.
The Merseysiders have also been interested in signing Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and if the latest reports are anything to go by then the Anfield club are now in pole position to hire his services.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Daily Star) claiming that the 24-year-old midfielder is ready to sign a new contract with the Gunners but only if it is worth £200,000-a-week.

More recently, The Sun came up with an exclusive report and stated that Liverpool are favorites to secure the signature of the England international but he will cost £40million + £1 ($51.5million) i.e. the offer Arsenal made for Luis Suarez few seasons back but failed to lure the Uruguayan.
Mirror also claimed that Liverpool have made a huge push to sign the former Southampton player. Moreover, they stated that as per Alex’s teammates, he is more likely to move to Anfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was not a regular starter for the North Londoners last season but still managed to score 6 goals and provide 11 assists in all competitions. In your opinion, should Klopp splash the cash to sign him?
