According to reports going on in the media, Spurs are close to signing Portuguese international and Barcelona star Andre Gomes.
The Spanish international joined the Catalan giants last season but mainly warmed the bench in the presence of star midfielders like Iniesta, Rakitic and Busquets.

The British source have claimed that Spurs have beaten off competition from the Hammers and the player will initially arrive on loan.
As per Daily Mail, the 24-year-old star is nearing a move to Spurs. His current deal with Barcelona has got a mammoth release clause of €100m (FCB). However, according to the information gathered by the Mail, Spurs will be obligated to sign Andre for 40 million pounds if he plays 60% of the games this season.
