$146million Stars to be Offered to Liverpool

Liverpool superstar Philippe Coutinho is constantly linked with a move to Barcelona and the latest update is very interesting.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Diario Gol) claiming that Barcelona have offered 29-year-old Ivan Rakitic to sign the Samba star from the Anfield club.
Today, Don Balon have reported that the Catalan giants are prepared to offer two midfielders in the form of Denis Suarez (23) and Rafinha (24) to secure the signing of the former Inter Milan star, for whom the Reds are demanding a fee of 150 million euros.
Suarez and Rafinha have got huge release clauses in their respective contracts (will expire in 2020) with a combined worth of 125million euros ($146million). Denis’ release clause is worth 50 million euros (FCB) and Rafinha’s clause if worth 75 million euros (FCB).

The Spanish international could only start 12 league games for the La Liga club last season, scored 1 goal and provided 4 assists. He can effectively play on the left wing as well.
On the other hand, the Brazilain midfielder started 14 times in the league, scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists. He can effectively be deployed on the right wing as well.
In the presence of star midfielders like Rakitic, Busquets and captain Iniesta, the likes of Suarez and Rafinha mainly warmed the bench for Barca last season. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that Liverpool will be prepared to let one of their best stars leave to sign two unproven midfielders.
