Matic Alternative? $44million Play Breaker High on Jose Mourinho's Wishlist

Manchester United have mainly been linked with Chelsea star Nemanja Matic as far as the defensive midfield reinforcement is concerned.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Independent) claiming that United are ready to spend big to sign the former Benfica star.
Now, a new name is in the lime light in the form of Belgian international and Anderlecht star Leander Dendoncker.
According to DeMorgen, Manchester United will send their scout to Belgium with only one mission, to monitor the play breaker

The Belgian source have mentioned that Anderlecht have slapped a price tag of 38 million euros ($44million) on Leander, who is high on Jose Mourinho’s wishlist.
Dendoncker is naturally a defensive midfielder but he can effectively play as a center half as well. In the last campaign, he featured in over 50 games for Anderlecht in all competitions and scored six goals.
Matic has got the all important Premier League experience under his belt but he will turn 29 in a few days. On the other hand, Leander turned 22 this year and has got his peak years ahead of him.
