Manchester United signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan last summer to improve their attacking midfield. This time around, Mourinho wants to further reinforce his offense and Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic has been in the focus for quite some time.
Last month, renowned Italian source Corriere dello Sport reported that the Croatian attacker has agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford club that will double his current earnings. However, United have so far failed to agree a fee with the Italian club.
As per the latest update provided by Sky Italia, the British giants have made it clear that they will resume their efforts to sign the former Borussia Dortmund star.

Sky have mentioned that United are ready to step up and launch a new proposal to sign Ivan but they will not be matching Inter’s asking price of 55 million euros (£48.3million).
Perisic’s current deal with the Nerazzurri will expire in 2020. A player of his caliber deserves to play in the Champions League and with he can get that opportunity next season by joining United.
In the last campaign, the 28-year-old playmaker featured in 42 games (all competitions) and directly contributed in 23 goals (11 goals and 12 assists) for the Serie A side.
In your opinion, is Ivan Perisic good enough to improve Mourinho’s attacking department?
