Sky Reporter – Manchester United Getting Closer to Sign $64million Star

Manchester United need to strengthen their attacking midfield and Ivan Perisic is the main man in the focus at the moment.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via The Independent) claiming that the Red Devils will eventually seal the signing of the star, who is rated around 50 million pounds ($64million).
More recently, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that Manchester United are getting closer to signing the versatile Croatian playmaker. He told Sky (Mirror):
“Our understanding is a deal is getting closer”

The former Wolfsburg attacker directly contributed in 22 league goals for the Nerazzuri last season but but he has not played in the Champions League since 2012 (for Dortmund).
Not to forget, he will turn 29 next year and therefore, the above mentioned price tag seems very high.
Another report covered by renowned British source Telegraph suggests that United have made three bids for Perisic and the last move was worth 40 million pounds. The report states that the Old Trafford club still need to pay at least 9 million pounds to hire his services.
