Liverpool are serious about signing Naby Keita from Leipzig but the Bundesliga side are adamant and do not want to sell him.
Few days back, we covered a report (via Bild) claiming that the Reds made an offer worth 65 million euros to hire the services of the 22-year-old Guinean midfielder but the move was rejected.
More recently, reports (The Guardian) have suggested that the Anfield club made another offer, this time worth 75 million euros to secure his signature but once again, Leipzig have rejected the move.
Keita featured in over 30 league games for the German club last season, scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists. Leipzig will be playing Champions League football next season and want to hold on to their key players.

As per the provided Guardian link, there are suggestions that Keita’s agent is in Honk Kong to talk to Liverpool and find out whether they are interested in making another offer.
By now, it is evident that Klopp rates the African star very highly, the German boss is desperate to sign him this summer and the Reds may make a third offer as well.
The renowned source has mentioned that the Reds are well aware of the fact that Keita wants to join. Like any other representative, Naby’s agent surely wants to fulfill the demands of his client and he would want Liverpool to make a new offer.
Therefore, it will not come as any surprise if Liverpool make another bid for the versatile midfielder. Will that be worth over 85 million euros? Only time will tell.
