Liverpool Increasingly Convinced of Signing Center Back

Liverpool had more than a few problems at the back in the last campaign and fans will not like to see the same back four next season.
The Reds badly need a top quality central defender this summer and Southampton star Virgil van Dijk has mainly been in the lime light.
On the other hand, reports have suggested that the Merseysiders are interested in signing Belgian international and Inter Milan center back Zinho Vanheusden.
Recently, La Gazzetta Dello Sport (press image provided below) have mentioned that Liverpool expected to push to sign the 18-year-old starlet, who won the Italy’s youth championship with Inter.

The teenage defender has been on the pre-season tour with the Nerazzurri and the Italian source have mentioned that the Reds are focusing on Zinho and are increasingly confident of getting him.
The youngster might be a good option for the future but Liverpool must splash the cash to sign a defender who will get straight into the starting XI.
Vanheusden made his debut for the U-19 Belgian national side earlier this year (March) and so far, he has made two appearances.
