Liverpool will need to sign a top quality star if Philippe Coutinho leaves the club in the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian international has been one of the best players for the Reds over the years and he is going to be vital next season when Liverpool will take part in the Champions League.
However, reports are heavily linking him with a move to sign for Barcelona. In such a scenario, the likes of Mirror and the Sun have reported that Liverpool are eyeing the signing of Christian Pulisic.
Mirror claim that Klopp will move to sign the Borussia Dortmund star if Coutinho departs for Barca.

Liverpool have been linked with the teenage winger in the past as well and The Sun have stated that they could move in again with an offer over 30 million pounds ($39million) to agree the signing of the American attacker.
The 18-year-old star is a versatile talent, who can be deployed on either flank and also in the central attacking midfield. Naturally, Pulisic is a right winger and Liverpool have already signed Salah who can play in that position. Moreover, Sadio Mane mainly played on the right wing for the Merseysiders last season.
In the last campaign, Christian featured in 43 games for the Bundesliga side, scored 5 goals and provided 13 assists.
It must be noted that Dortmund have got playmakers like Schurrle, Reus, Dembele and Kagawa around as well. Due to the over-crowded attack, Pulisic could only start 15 league games last season.
