Liverpool Boss Talked about Reports Related to £70million Star

Liverpool have been heavily linked with Virgil van Dijk for a long time now and the Dutch defender is even in the reports nowadays.
Yesterday, former Liverpool star Danny Murphy claimed that the £70million rated center half could be close to joining the Merseysiders (value via Express).
Recently, when asked about Liverpool’s interest, Jurgen Klopp refused to speculate over the future of the former Celtic star. The German manager told Liverpool TV (via Daily Star).

“Am I allowed to talk about this? I am not!”
“Pretty much everything I could say would be a mistake. You or your colleagues wrote everything about this a few weeks ago”
“I was in Iceland by the way when somebody told me this was in the newspaper. Nothing happened since then, all good so far, so I can’t say anything about this.”

Last season, the Merseysiders were shaky at the back even after signing two new central defenders (Matip and Klavan) and a new goalie Karius.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss must sort out the defensive dilemma or else Liverpool have no chance of winning the Premier league title next season.
Virgil van Dijk is is a top quality defender, who can solve this conundrum once and for all but he is going to cost a lot if he moves. The Reds kick started their pre-season campaign yesterday with a win over Tranmere Rovers.
