Klopp Keenest to Sign 27-year-old Star for Liverpool – Emphasized Internally

Liverpool do need a top quality forward this summer but after handing the number 9 shirt to Roberto Firmino, it seems that they are content with the options available in the attacking third.
Nevertheless, they are still linked with a proven quality forward in the form of German international Thomas Muller.
The 27-year-old striker has been a key member of the Bayern Munich team since making his debut under Louis van Gaal. However, last season, he under-performed under the management of Carlo Ancelotti. Thomas featured in 42 games and could only score 9 times for the German champions.
Bayern have recently hired the services of James Rodriguez and the Colombian international should give competition to Muller.

In such a scenario, SportBild have claimed that the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Juventus and Chelsea are interested in signing the star, who played a pivotal role in helping Germany win the World Cup.
The German source have stated that above all, Klopp has emphasized internally at the club that he would love to see Muller in his team.
Keeping in mind Liverpool’s interest in the versatile striker, the report further mentioned that it is a good thing the Merseysiders are coming to Munich next month for Audi Cup.
Thomas’ current deal with Bayern will expire in 2021. He has so far played 85 times for the senior national side and scored no fewer than 37 goals.
