In an exclusive interview with ESPN, the £312,500-a-week man (Daily Star) has stated that he wants to be at Manchester United for long term. The 54-year-old boss claimed that he is ready to stay for the next 15 years:
“I am ready for this,” “I am ready for the next 15, I would say. Here? Yes, why not? I have to admit that it is very difficult because of the pressure around our jobs, everybody putting pressure on managers and things that people say — that we have to win, but in reality only one can win and every year it is getting more difficult.”
Mourinho claimed that staying at a club for years is good for stability but nowadays, it is not easy because one bad season can make you lose your job.
