Liverpool are still keen on hiring the services of Naby Keita from Leipzig. The transfer saga has dragged on for far too long.
According to Mirror, the Reds are going to make one last push to sign the Guinean international and if they fail, they are expected to look elsewhere.
One of the alternatives mentioned by the British source is German international Leon Goretzka.

In my opinion, Klopp has wasted a lot of time chasing the African star. Now is the time that the German boss must forget about signing him and Liverpool have to splash the cash to agree the signing of the above mentioned Schalke star instead.
Like Keita, Leon is also a box to box midfielder who was in top form in the Bundesliga last season.
Leon was one of the key members of the national side that recently won the Confederations Cup in Russia. He was the joint leading goalscorer in the competition with 3 goals.
Naby scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions for Leipzig. On the other hand, Goretzka scored 8 goals and provided 6 assists in all competitions for Schalke in the last campaign.
The most important factor is the price tag. As per the provided Mirror link, Liverpool may make a bid of 70 million pounds for Keita. Goretzka is certain to leave this summer (Mirror) and will be a lot cheaper, mainly because his contract with Schalke will expire in less than 12 months.
Back in March, Mirror reported that Leon is rated around 20 million pounds. Earlier this month, the Sun mentioned that he is rated around 21 million pounds ($28million).
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Keita or Goretzka?
