Liverpool have not given up the chase to sign Guinean international Naby Keita this summer.
The versatile midfielder was in top class form last season and helped Leipzig qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their short history.
The Bundesliga side obviously want to hold on to their key stars knowing that they have to challenge the best of teams in Europe’s elite competition next season.
As far as Keita is concerned, the German club have rejected an offer worth 68 million euros made by Liverpool and as per information provided to ESPN by a source, Leipzig have made a decision that the Anfield faithful will not like.

The report states that Leipzig have decided that none of their key players will be sold this summer at any price. The source told ESPN:
“We will not enter into negotiations at all,”
“A decision has been made that none of our key players will be sold and we’re sticking to it.”
In all honesty, Liverpool already have an overcrowded midfield with stars like Gini, Hendo, Milner, Can and Lallana around. Still, if Klopp is still keen on signing another midfielder, then he should stop wasting time on chasing Keita and must look elsewhere.
The German boss needs to gel his new signings well before the start of the new campaign and for that he must secure the signings as soon as possible. So far, Liverpool have only signed attacking players like Salah and Solanke.
